Grepolis Gaming
The newly released Grepolis Game may interest existing DOTA gamers and world of warraft fans. And estimates suggest the new online browser game from Innogames may begin to erode the large login base for evony free forever. (The big success in the free browser game market for 2009, after releasing in beta as the Civony game)

Evony Free Forever proves critics wrong
It had the biggest crowd of critics of any releases in 2009, but it seems Evony Free Forever has outlasted them all and had the last laugh.
Originating in China, then being reformed for release into the English market - Evony has seen over 10 million accounts created during the year and shows no signs of stopping just yet.
The brainchild of Eric Lam and his associates, the free to play browser game allows serious players to optionally purchase game coins using real money to enhance their experience.
The large web-based marketing campaign has seen endless streams of gamers coming to play the addictive title and 2010 it set to see a host of expansion options for the browser-based massively multiplayer game.

Console Games vs PC Based Games
The debate has raged for years, Console games vs traditional PC games. Now I say traditional, because the use of a keyboard and mouse for gaming movement on the PC has been around for many years now. From a PC perspective, they've always had the upper hand. More powerful video cards, more accurate input for first person shooters (using mouse and keyboard is ideal!) and a massive base of PC users to sell to.
For console vendors, they had to first sell a specialised device into the living room before they could start selling games. But now, they are getting much more powerful hardware, blueray drives and the like even before PCs are seeing them in the mainstream. The game designers for consoles also have a solid, set of hardware specs to work with - they know there won't be any change so the code can be totally accurate and push the gear the limit.
On the pc they can't do this, software games developers need to ensure that the game will run on all sorts of hardware, software and systems.
One thing swinging games back into the favor of PCs is the new releases of online free browser games; the likes of the evony game and kingory game now free to play are gobbling up internet gamers very quickly because accounts are free.
Will this trend see more PC based and internet based games dominating?

Evony Login Tips
If you're stuck and simply cannot get your personal evony login working, then you need to read the full guide from the guys over at aimsgraz. Feedback from evony free forever gamers was suggesting that it was becoming so bad that they were looking for games like evony they could try and place instead.
If you've given up, don't panic. Come back to the game and initially try and load the direct gaming server page if you can.
Failing that, log a ticket with evony support to get everything looked into.

Evony Free Forever Login
While users in Asia have not experienced this problem, some Evony users from the USA, UK and Australia have found that at times the evony login simply fails. This has been put down to either lag, connections problems or server overload.
UMGE who make evony have done well to expand the server base, but at times (certainly peak periods) the servers cannot handle the flux of gamers and simply lock up. Follow directions from the logging in guide at aimsgraz.org to solve some of these problems.

DOTA users shun Evony Free Forever
Its funny how some games remain closely linked or popular with groups of players. But with DOTA and Evony Free Forever that link has never really remained connected.
Dota gamers flocked over to check things out with Evony earlier in the year, but were put off by the tame war elements in the game.
It seems traditional DOTA gaming fans like fast paced action where controls at the keyboard constantly are required. The slower paced of evony with drawn out attacks and controls that didnt require them at the keyboard - just didn't light their flame.
To this day, DOTA remains hugely popular with gamers around the world and in plenty of net cafes and gaming cafes where internet fans join together and go the LAN or battlenet warzone route.
